First, I am truly very sorry (and pissed) for the downtime. I am currently in Europe for business and just haven't had the chance to take care of the problem. I actually left for Europe the day the server was hacked and went down.

The good news? The data has been recovered, and so, the site will be restored to its original state prior to going down. The bad news is that server host is a POS and trying to rob me in my efforts to get our site back up. However, I am now actively working on getting the site back up and fully operational. I am still in Europe, so please bear with me.

its DnD again tonight! yes i know i just went one last week. well this is MY DnD.

decided against getting a party dress. went out shopping yest with my colleagues, and even tho i saw one i liked, didn't feel like getting it.SUCH a waste of money *TSK*

went on a mad shopping spree yesterday trying to buy stuff i can wear for the DnD.
technically.... i'm not sure if i got it.

i bot boots. called 11 charles and keith shops before going back to sq one. saw a pair that i liked at the citylink outlet the day b4, but all they had left in my size is the display pair. So, being prissy, i thought i'll try my luck at other outlets. Was late, so figured i'll call them the next day aka yesterday.

Basically called 10 shops whilst impersonating a staff, coz i can't be bothered to explain..

"Hi, i'm calling to check if you have model no. blah blah. the brown one in size 36. No, i am a customer. I would like to reserve it plz. I will come by tonight and collect it. Thanks!"

compared to

short and sweet. gotta love it. LOL

prob need to get another pair of jeans.... since can wear to the function tml. den i'll have everything covered.

somehow, blogger ain't blocked.

its D's dinner and Dance this sat and i haven't got my dress! OMG. its Thurs already! *panic*
worse still, i clean forgot abt the DnD, keep thinking its next week... when actually next wk is my own dnd. die liao lah.

and i was looking forward to watching Golden Compass with Fad coz her co got subsidized tickets. its at 5.15pm.. lasting 114min, the dnd gonna start at 6+..... crappy schedule clash. now gotta rush off immed after the movie and hopefully get a taxi that knows how to go to Sentosa Cove. Which i doubt.

So i'll prob reach ard 8.... of all the hotels in SG... gotta host the DnD in Sentosa island. Ordinarily, I would love Sentosa, but this is really a series of unfortunate events. I dun wanna go movie dressed in a party dress and get it all crumpled coz i'll be sitting for a long ime, neither do i want to under dress for a semi-formal event. not to mention make up and hair how.

i hope it doesn't rain.

if only i have a chauffer... haiz.......

Queued 4 hours at Sitex just to get this 600 bucks 7" ultra portable!

the big black one is my 14.1" laptop. see the difference??

its only 0.92kg !

& 7" small!

i queued for 4 hours before managing to get it at the Singapore launch lah. Its sold out (technically lah.. u can still get pple to bring in for u at premium px) in Singapore already on the same day.

best yet! 600 bucks only for an ultra-portable! worth it right!??

of coz at this amazing px, there will be imitations.

4gb and only 512 is the only major flaw, easily remedied by my 30gb ipod and upgrade the ram to 1g. easy.

Jaye came and look for me, knowing that i was at sitex, with her bunch of guy buddies, Sean aka the Clubber Nurse (oops sounds a bit kinky) and Kenneth aka Jaye's personal Porter. poor Kenneth. LOL

anyways, knew sean way back before poly, whu introduced me to jaye whu became my gal pal. lol

digress.

went ard to get our stuff and left. can't believe i spent almost a whole day there lah!

Went Phin's at Tampine's mall for dinner. pretty ok food.

Went to watch Mr Takuya's Hero. Funny, storyline's ok. a lil draggy tho.
somehow i ended up going home at 11++ 12 i think. even the trains have stopped.

anyhow. i'm happily bringing my new lappie ard EVERYWHERE!

u know, there are lots of pple want to make a self-made gift but end up with entirely disasterous results. so wat i will do is come up with the original design, pack it with everything u need, and pple can buy the sets from me. each set will be one of a kind, therefore, its not generic design that the intended receipient can see on the racks. OR, the client can select the design and i do the entire thing for him/her and of coz there are costs involved.

kindof like jigsaw shops.. buy the packaged set or the already made one.

received alot of complaints abt this blog navigation. just wanna say.. that exactly why i love this skin... lol

baked a cake yest! with my aunt. made choc devils cakes... without all the cream and choc burying the cake tho. so its just the plain choc cake. it wasn't too bad... not too coylingly sweet and fluffy. impressed eh?

actually we used a cake mix. so not much culinary display on our end. keke.. but still.. there are pple whu mess up cakes mixes u'know.. so we ARE pretty ok. spent the sunday RnR at my now jurong home. prob the last RnR sunday tho for the next few weeks.

will be involved in a project with the dealine looming ahead. its been a long while since i was "involved in a project" moreover, working with pple whu know the way i work best. feels like the good ole days again. everyone falling into their usual roles. actually looking forward to it, its been a while since sth required my half past six expertise. haha... not gonna reveal wat i'm doing till much later... just to keep u guys in suspense for a while. lol

gorgoues ain't it? saw this at esplanade. its all drawn with chalk! and the artists (2 of them) used water to smudge the chalk together.

if u noticed, its an image of some pple (in the larger circle) looking at an artist drawing in the smaller quadrant. so this picture forms a triple image with me looking at the pple looking at the artiste drawing the small quadrant.

AND~ the details of the biggest quadrant and and the small quad replicate each other. as in, some parts of the big quad are incomplete... the same parts of the small quad is also not filled in. can see?

here's a closer look. its a drawing of the lady artist she did of herself.
here can see clearer, the pedestrains behind the artist are not completed, and the ones in the smaller part also not filled in.

the artist at work. there was actually another guy artist but i din manage to get him in the picture.

sad thing was that the day after i took the pictures, there was a very heavy rain the next day. so i suppose it was all washed away even if they completed the picture after i left ard 6+ - 7pm. cause it was in an open area.... so~ sad rite.. after spending all the time and effort and think they started on sat or sun... i saw this on monday. haiz.

but i guess thats the essence of this kind of art too ain't it. as long as someone saw it when it was still there its sufficient.

This is a very interesting song writer/singer from the UK. I THINK she's the first person to actually gain stardom thru webcasting her own songs on her pc to her audience online.

The story was that she was a gig singer, driving to pubs etc to sing till one day she decided she wanted to webcast her songs online.

"She bought a webcam, and announced a run of 21 shows to be performed on consecutive nights during February and March in the basement of her flat in Tooting, South London. The audience capacity in the flat itself was limited to just six people. But the half-hour shows were to be broadcast, free of charge, via her website at www.sandithom.com. ugly... eech...
but first...went to watch this play/sketch thing at the esplanade with fad yest. its basically a kind of impromptu stand up comedy by 4 australians, with watever smses we send them as content.very interesting and funny and refreshing.

on the way back on the train, saw some things i can't abide by. freaking pissed by wat i saw. the so called "ugy singaporean" behavior. i suppose that with higher pple traffic, due to the IT show at Suntec, the higher the possibilty of seeing such "ugly pple". only this time we can add "ugly cheena man" and "ugly blanglas" to the picture.

"Ugly Singaporean on MRT" epitomised by this 40+ auntie trying to snatch seats at busy city hall station. she was trying to "chop" 3 seats for her friends and herself. ramming her way with one arm laden with her huge handbag and one other arm laden with her shopping bags. and when she managed to secure a 2 seats, she refused to let this other indian woman with her baby in her arms from taking the seat from her. for goodness sake! how selfish is that! luckily the indian woman managed to get another seat. the freaking auntie and her auntie friends had actually split up and tried to secure seats in differnt cabins. so this auntie in my cabin later gave up her seats to join her more "skilled" friend in the other cabin.TSK!

then, the increasingly ever present, "shockwave cheena man". dun understand the logic, why those cheena man can't talk in normal voice levels. I am NOT interested in your woes with your landlord nor am i interested in conversation with your frens. Everytime i board the train i run the risk of being forced to listen in to watever they are talking about. AND i' already listening to my mp3, but i can STILL hear them. it doesn't matter if they are on the phone or not. i suppose, being unfamiliar with cell phone technology, the don't understand that you dun have to scream at the top of your lungs into the phone to get yourself heard. don't they get it that it doesn't matter that your friend is somewhere in changi and you are in jurong. they CAN hear u.
feel like slapping this logic into their heads when ever they are on the phone.

worse still, are the cheena pple whu seek to burst the eardrums of whu ever are seated near them in the cabin, their conversation partner may be rite next to them but they persist to speak in deafening tones. wat the f man! they are probably thinking that "hey, my conersation's so interesting, i'm such a skilled linguist, that the entire cabin's held captive by my linguistic abilities. thats y they are staring at me" and they go on and on and on thru out the entire train journey from jurong to changi where they meet their equally loud fren.

or maybe they are just suffering from partial deafness. so they have to speak extra loud to be heard.

then, the jellied body blangla. obviously, the pole in the middle of the cabin forms an interal part of their spine. which is why they have to attach themselves to the poles whenever they see it. if the train is packed, den too bad for the rest of the people. but then again, this "spinous jelliofiomous" syndrome seem to strike all sorts of pple.. but seems especially prevalent in blanglas and early morning commuters. scientists are still studying the cause of this illness. wat causes it and how to cure it.

Fun twisty phone~! 2mpixels cam! and real player, that can play anime on the phone! and mp3! and vvv cool mirco sd card, thats like the size of half a SIM card. cool ya? lol.... now i just gotta figure out how to do transfer with my antiquated win98 at home. hahaha (*apparently i can't use the software with win98 only xp and 2000! arrrggghhh~!)

guess everyone should know by now that chris cheong got into some troublehe knocked down an old guy and the old guy died..... i was told it happened somewhere near sch.but recently, as verified by thaim hock, that chris cheong should be in the clear if further investigations do not show up anything else. it wasn't a case of negilence by the driver. so chris cheong is not neglible, so no so called" punishment"

den there's ternece, obviously, think most pple also know that he recently got attached with "you know who"... hahahha.. still the same old~ ran into him at lindy's bday party

lindy's party~~she booked the main hall of a ktv place in toa payoh, suprisingly, felt like we were just a bunch of friends at a half run down pub. hahahhaa... den lindy was busy running between cliques, seated at different tables.aka mamasan~ lol

a set of edible undies, throw in some condoms, a disposable vibrating ring, and a pacifier! lol! AND we wrote our well wishes on disposable pads! i called this be prepared for all scenerios. lol~!poor D, made him sign on a pad too~! close encounter of the pads! think it was the closest he will ever come into contact with it. lol.

am soooooo irritated by the ktv owner uncle~!. cheated my feelings! he was supposed to serve freeflow juice and soft drinks. but he only put out the juice. so i had to ask him for coke den of all things i saw him pour pepsi!and the pepsi is the free drink when lindy ordered pizza~! bu shuang! i dun care wat u pple say, but there IS a differnance btwn coke and pepsi, thats y its too different companies! duh! anyway, he is supposed to come up with free flow softdrinks not take the party thrower's drinks. bu shuang bu shuang! its the principle of the thing u know wat i mean?!

anyway.. contracted some sort of virus and now am bedridden(almost) at home. this is not the way i wanna lose weight sia~! sob sob! feeling woozy, nausesous, runny nose, bloated, acute throat inflamation and severe cough. that pretty much cancels out watever i can eat. so i haven't eaten much yet.

abt my job again.. decided v firmly against continuing the contract. when the time comes in another 2 mths or so. at this moment i hate my job. maybe i'm being too wilful or maybe even naive to discard a well paying job in a good co. i consider myself lucky already... since i already held jobs in 2 well known co.s since grad, whereas i heard there are fellow coursemates of mine still looking for a job since grad.

but this job......... i can't stand being so incompetant in it anymore. and its got to the point where i just dread going to work every single day. even on sundays, i get depressed.... coz work starts next day.
dunno is it becoz of unhappiness at the job, i tend to fall sick so often nowadays even tho the hours or more decent, the pay is better...versus say..the fengshui job....or even when i used to work at the factry with 12 hr shifts. my mind may be influencing my body to fall sick and i dun have to go to work? hahaha wraped reasoning.

aaaarrrggghhh...it's pretty obvious isn't it.

i just hate the job.everything else are excuses.
